Gateshead Council and its strategic partners are looking to appoint partners or a consortium to work with us to transform and regenerate housing in Gateshead.
This is a long-term initiative over a period of 15 to 20 years and a major priority for us. As a housing market renewal pathfinder, a lot of work has already been done and many developments are underway.
The transformation will take place mainly in the Bridging NewcastleGateshead pathfinder area. However, a number of sites located in the outlying areas have also been included in the project.
